Alexander Wang has managed to make his brand extremely lucrative in only two show seasons. Unfortunately design is not affected by success, so his spring show was never guaranteed to be a hit. At its best, it's like a very hot day at the beach. At its worst, its like a highly caffeinated soccer mom. I admire his initiative to do something bold with presentation, but the worst way a model can look is sweaty and tired. If he's as saavy as he's made out to be, and I have faith that he is, he'll get Erin Wasson back for next season. Her sharp eye for styling brought his clothes right to where they needed to be.
