Two seasons ago Erin Fetherston was my favorite collection. There was something wonderfully whimsical and different about her ethereal debut, but she lost that certain something trying to emulate Romeo and Juliet last season. A sophomore slump is never a good thing, so this season she attempted to return to her previous aesthetic. But whether or not she was inspired is certainly up for debate. The first words that came to my mind while skimming the collection were "gauzy" and occasionally "clouds." She worked with transparent fabrics and didn't venture out of a muted palette once. And while I can't say I'm in love with it, I can say that I like some pieces. To form your own opinion (and see the full collection) click
