Monthly Wrap-Up Post:August 2008
Hey everyone! It's the end of August. It's been an awesome month, except for when Joey went a little crazy towards the end. But otherwise we've had some great stuff happen to us, like getting an interview with Liam Kyle Sullivan, getting over 100 hits in a day, and getting over 100 friends on YouTube! Thanks to everyone who's subscribed, and if you haven't, do so. Now, as amazing as this month has been, the future is bright for September! It's a very important our site, with big events like Spring Fashion Week and TV premieres! We'll be covering both extensively, plus we're branching out! We have plans for more videos, more interviews, more theme days, and DIY projects. So keep coming back to read all this and more, and while you're at it, Subscribe!

The Odd Couple
Hello readers! First of all I just want to apologize that I didn't keep my promise from my last post when I said it would be only 1 day we would be gone. We experienced some technical difficulties... But anyway, lets just get right along with it.
Its been a little while since the most recent Gnarls Barkley album, The Odd Couple has come out, but i still find it fabulous, and highly underappreciated. Seriously! When I first got it, and heard "Run," I thought to myself, "this is definitely going to be a hit!" But apparently it's been taking its time getting there... So I figured, why not give it an extra little push? I don't want one of my favorite groups to be only known as one hit wonders!!! I've picked out a few of the best songs on the album, and i want you all to listen, love, and spread the glory of them-

Monthly Wrap-Up Post:July 2008
Hello everyone! Welcome to our monthly wrap-up post, which we're hoping to do every month from now until our little blog is no more. First off, congratulations to us! It's about a month since we started this site and we're just starting to get in to the swing of things. I don't have much to say this month, except that you should definitely keep coming back because we're putting a lot of effort in to it!
And there are a few ways you can help us get better.

Thats right Joey. Hey everybody! Im back from vacation and ready to get to work. This month we're getting excited about posting things we've been considering all of last month but never got around to. For instance, we're introducing themed days. Now im still waiting on YouTubers for my post, but apparently Joey is more successful in the interviewing field... Still, we're also going to try to make another video on YouTube, and suggestions are more than welcome!
Thanks for reading! Happy August!

Tavi the Style Rookie
In our days of precocious child stars and Miley Cyrus world domination it might not even surprise you that a 12 year old girl can compete with the fashion blog world. Tavi, who describes herself as "a vertically challenged 12 year old that could fit inside your purse," manages to pull this off and show maturity that her Jonas Brothers adoring peers couldn't imagine. She calls herself a "style rookie" but from what I've seen she could rival a lot of people with her style. And while I may have a few years on her it's painfully obvious that she's a whole lot cooler than I am. She provides in-depth knowledge on the fashion world that I doubt many people possess. Not to mention that the majority of her clothes are from thrift stores and vintage shops, proving that true style comes not from money but from a quality that few truly have. Anyway, the point is that her blog is my new favorite (even if she is apparently considering quitting) and I highly suggest you check it out at www.tavi-thenewgirlintown.blogspot.com.

Hello Readers
For the 1 of you who has come to this blog more than once, this is just to explain where Meg has been recently. She's taking a little vacation for the next week or so while she works on a big post. Let's just say that we love YouTube here, and we're gonna be interviewing some familiar faces. Until then, you're stuck with me and my excessive TV posts (sorry about that). So Enjoy!

Our Life on the Blogging D-List

Every Thursday at 10 I sit down and watch the hilarious My Life On the D-List, a reality show on Bravo that follows the self-proclaimed, and I have to concur, "hilarious Kathy Griffin." Why do I find it so funny? Maybe it's the fact that I confess I'm a celebrity gossip junkie, and Kathy Griffin is like my enabler with her highly amusing anecdotes. But recently, it could be that I resonate with her bid to find fame, recognition, and, most importantly, publicity. Yes, believe or not, preaching to a non-existent choir can be frustrating, and with a blog that, at last check, had 3 views other than either of us, the concept is close to my heart.
Publicity has been a buzz word for my blogging parter-in-crime Meg and I, and with our highly embarrassing statistics, we feel the pressure more than ever. We've tried a video on youtube, followed up by incessant friend requests. (we just felt the cold hard slap of reality with a "who are you people and how did you find me?"-type message) But now we have a new brilliant and shameless plan.
Every day Yahoo!(tm, copyrighted, don't sue us please) collects the statistics of Yahoo searches all over the world, and posts the most popular ones. Now, as interesting as it is to know that Jessica Alba is the most searched person on the internet, (did anyone steal that title?) we've figured out a much better way to use these statistics. A sort of "Internet world domination," if you will.
For the next couple of weeks we're going to be blogging about these top searches, putting aside any slight bit of pride and/or ego we may have. And while you may not care about Cheryl Cole (Girls Aloud member, today's top search, congrats Cheryl) we ask that you bear with us for the time being in a series of posts we like to call Our Life on the Blogging D-List.
