Jennifer Aniston to 30 Rock
This year appears to be the year of the guest star. From Michael Kors on Gossip Girl, Lindsay Lohan on Ugly Betty, Nicole Richie on Chuck, all the way to Mary-Kate Olsen on Samantha Who, Britney's starting trends again and this one is in full swing! So who does 30 Rock, that's managed to nab Jerry Seinfeld and possibly Oprah, get to fill their quota? Why, Jennifer Aniston! This is a pretty big get for 30 Rock, since it appears that she has an intense phobia of TV or anything that is at all related to Friends. But who will she play? Details haven't been released just yet, but keep checking back here!
Update:She will be playing Claire Harper, Liz Lemon's former roommate who comes back and apparently stalks Jack!

Richard Chai (Men's) Spring/Summer 2009
People always ask me why I spend so much time obsessing over women's fashion, seeing as I can't wear it. And while, in reality, I don't have much hope of scoring any men's fashion either, I skimmed through the men's shows this season and one in particular piqued my interest. Richard Chai, current Target Go line superstar, subtitled his S/S '09 show "good boy goes bad," according to Style, inspired by a fight scene in The Outsiders. In this case, he channeled both the Soces and the Greasers, with details such as the famously mocked "short pants" of the Soces and the hard-edged plaid of the Greasers, with fabulous (take that, search engines!) results. Maybe it's because everything is soo me, from the copius amounts of grey to the hair (someone told me the other day that I "remind them of Grease") but I pretty much love every single thing in the collection. Now all I need is an amazing salary (or at least a job) and I can make it all my own. Muahahahahaha. To see the full collection, click click click

My Favorite Kids Shows
Kids shows strictly for kids? Don't believe the hype! In case you ever find yourself up in the wee hours of the morning, and Regis is not on Regis and Kelly (seriously, Reege, pull it together)these are my recommendations for the kid in all of us!
LazyTown•Weekdays at 10:30 AM on Nick Jr.
In this Icelandic import, the not-so-lazy,synthetic pink-haired protagonist Stephanie moves to a town where everyone is lazy! Fret not, young Stephanie, for our fearless leader Sportacus is here to save the day. All you have to do to reach the mysterious Sportacus is put a letter in a special mailbox which is then delivered to his plane/house in the sky and he will rush down and help the lazy kids of LazyTown. If this alone isn't enough reason to watch, there's always Robbie Rotten, the Grinch-like villain who plans foolproof disguises to spoil all the fun. Plus they have the tendency to break into sugar coated techno songs about the lessons they've learned.
To see the rest, click
The Doodlebops•Weekdays at 9:30 AM on Playhouse Disney
The Doodlebops, this time Canadian, follows the lives of the extremely in-demand kids band by the same name. They can't go anywhere without being followed by legions of adoring fans, which I think is inspiring given the fact that they look something like homeless muppets shopping at the most sparkly goodwill in aaaalllll the land. It's amazing, I promise! You'll come for the "Don't Pull the Rope!" gag that gets better every time, but you'll stay for "Get on the Bus."
Dragon Tales•Weekdays at 8:00 AM on PBS
What's not to like? Spicy Latina jalapeños Max and Emmy discover that by way of a bizarre ritual that involves clutching a rock and chanting, they can be transported to a magical world of lovable dragons! Cassie has always been the best, but we can pretend to like the annoying Zak and Wheezie too. Plus, the DragonTunes? Genius! Max and Emmy are basically a big F U to Dora, who will never be as spicy as those two.
Well, that's it kiddies! Set your alarms or fire up your Tivos. And remember,

"I have no problem with journalists – many are friends. Only if they are really stupid, or if they’ve got bad breath, or if they smell. Yesterday [after the Chanel couture show] I had a problem. I said, ‘I’m sorry, you’ve got to tell this woman that she needs to be taken away. Her smell is not possible.'"Karl Lagerfeld Read more!
Cans Are Chic
Yesterday as I watched someone drink out of a bottle of soda I made a "brilliant" discovery. Bottles are clunky and you have to pretty much have pour whatever liquid suits your fancy into your mouth, making you look like a big dork. So I have a trend report for you guys: the look of the moment is Cans. Cans Cans Cans Cans Think about it! They're shiny and they make that little noise when you open them.Just trust me on this one. Anyone who's anyone is drinking from cans.

Liam Kyle Sullivan Interview
I must say, we really hit the jackpot this time! He's the man who starred in the "shoes" video (and many others) as Kelly, the most fabulous betch on YouTube.
Thank you so much for being with us today Mr. Sullivan! I'm a huge fan! I hope you don't mind, I'm just going to jump right into the questions-
1. So what got you into making videos?
No one would hire me to play a teenaged girl and her family, or a deranged muffin-maker, so I did it myself. I bought a nice camera and went to town. I figured I'd show the videos to my friends and anyone who would be interested. Then YouTube got invented. It's all in the timing.
2. Do your videos have any autobiographical overtones in them?
I think my characters are all freaks, and I kind of think of myself as a freak. In a good way. So they all kind of mirror that "outsider" part of me.
3. What is your favorite kind of muffin? (lol sorry, just had to ask)
Blueberry. BORING
4. Do you get recognized in public often? If so, is it more flattering or creepy?
It's very flattering when I get recognized, but I don't get recognized often. One time I was talking to a kid, he was like McLovin, and when he found out who I was, he FREAKED and started taking pictures like crazy. It was great!
5. Since you've made these viral videos, you've been on several tv shows and even won a peoples choice award! What has that been like?
Really satisfying. I've worked for nothing for years, writing my own stuff; I've played grandmothers, invalid schizophrenics, delusional pastors...but it was the teenage girl that really hit. Awesome.
6. Do you think Kelly is a role model for teen girls?
Yes, I do. She is not that bright, not that good-looking, and gets ridiculed for it by her family, but Kelly gets what she wants. She won't sit still for ridicule, she stands up for herself. She gives voice to her rage and doesn't take BS from anyone. That's admirable, even if she drops f-bombs and punches people out along the way, which obviously is not role model behavior.
7. Can we look forward to any more videos staring Purple Man?
Yes.
8. What are your hopes for your future?
I hope to swim a lot more frequently. I also plan on making lots more videos with new characters...look for Susan Walker, Kelly's aunt, to put out an album this fall...

Fantasy Gossip Girl League
Fantasy sports leagues have been a popular pastime for those avid fans, but sports is one topic that truly perplexes me so I have no experience with the matter. Now, entertainment site Fafarazzi has decided to bring the concept to an entirely new demographic with The Fantasy Gossip Girl Game. It's this simple: you pick your three favorite characters (Blair, Chuck, and Jenny for me) and whenever they do something like fight or do drugs, you get points! So if you've ever had an "I knew that was going to happen!" moment, this is the game for you. And you'd better sign up quick, because the show comes back September 1st!

Into The Gap
Last February, Patrick Robinson's redesign of The Gap premiered to very positive reviews, and now those clothes are becoming available to the public. Patrick strives to achieve a true classic American theme, by way of classic sportswear with a bit of a grungy twist. Wardrobe staples like the khaki trench, the leather jacket, and the wool blazer are updated and priced (for the most part) under $200. To see my picks, click

5 Reasons to Watch FNMTV
At last year's infamous VMA's, Justin Timberlake took advantage of his acceptance speech to challenge MTV to "play more damn videos." It was simple yet necessary advice to a network that can barely call itself "Music Television" anymore. And while the channel is still infiltrated with The Hills and other shameless programming, they've managed to dedicate one hour to actual music. I now present the five reasons why you should tune in.
- Because if you do then maybe they'll play more videos!
- Because there's always something for everyone.
- They play the whole video instead of that 1 minute crap on TRL.
- There's always a live performance.
- Because they're trying to be different, and sometimes change is good!

The Odd Couple
Hello readers! First of all I just want to apologize that I didn't keep my promise from my last post when I said it would be only 1 day we would be gone. We experienced some technical difficulties... But anyway, lets just get right along with it.
Its been a little while since the most recent Gnarls Barkley album, The Odd Couple has come out, but i still find it fabulous, and highly underappreciated. Seriously! When I first got it, and heard "Run," I thought to myself, "this is definitely going to be a hit!" But apparently it's been taking its time getting there... So I figured, why not give it an extra little push? I don't want one of my favorite groups to be only known as one hit wonders!!! I've picked out a few of the best songs on the album, and i want you all to listen, love, and spread the glory of them-

Chanel On Screen
Surprisingly enough, that biopic on the life of fashion hero Coco Chanel doesn't exist, well at least it doesn't yet. Already there are two on the horizon, with a rumored third one on the way. Unfortunately for English speakers, Coco avant Chanel, starring Audrey Tatou in the lead role will be completely in French, so we'll have to focus our attention on the two others. The first one is a mini-series starring Shirley Maclaine premiering on Lifetime September 13th, which unfortunately appears to pretty much suck. Oops. Looks like we'll have to set our sights on a rumored but likely fabricated English version with Demi Moore. Or we can just wait for the English subtitles on the French version.

The Guide to Everything Skins
The US premiere of Skins was on Sunday night, and while I wish I could tell you I was right there watching it, I was probably using the bathroom at a tragic gas station on my endless return home from vacation. Luckily I caught it at 3 am, and it was everything I could possibly want it to be. Hopefully you too took my advice and watched it,(if you didn't all the episodes are available on iTunes) because people are finally noticing it stateside. EW's Popwatch blog calls it "a better Gossip Girl with a huge dollop of Brit smarts." If you, like me, are obsessed and craving more, you can check out the official website and YouTube channel. And don't forget to watch (and tell your friends to do the same), every Sunday night at 10 PM/9PM central on BBC America.

September Magazine Covers
In case you haven't noticed we're being thrust in to Fall again, judging by the insane amount of back-to-school commercials and window displays. But if you, like me, have the Autumn blues;I have a remedy for you! September is like Christmas for magazines, and they pull out all the stops to both sell issues and pack their pages with as many ads as possible. And we get to enjoy the fruits of their labor.
